Shawn Bush
Shawn Bush is a visual artist based in Casper, WY, where he teaches at Casper College and operates Dais Books. With the awarded film, he will continue to build his Angle of Draw project by photographing areas affected by the boom-bust cycle of the fossil fuel industries in the Rocky Mountain West. He aims to create typologies of mining artifacts and materials in the style of forensic photography along with landscape images in the style of survey photography while continuing to make multiple exposure in-camera collages on-location and in the studio using 4x5 inch T-Max 400 film and simple masking tools.
